Michael Wynne
Michael Wynne is a scientist, engineer, professor, composer, musician, producer and lifetime animal lover, particularly dogs. He has trained Chesapeake Bay Retrievers for waterfowl hunting, and has a special affinity for Chessies and Dobermans. Michael was disabled in an accident and gets around with his mobility and balance dog, Poe, a 125 lb Presa Canario. Michael has been saving animals as long as he remembers, from turtles, frogs, lizards and snakes, to pigeons, dogs, cats, and wildlife to include a black vulture. He’s the kind of nut you see swerving off the road to jump out and get a turtle to safety or coax a scared dog into the car off the highway. Michael is the very proud husband of Rachel Wynne, 31 years of marriage, and two wonderful children, Devin and David. Michael has been the founder and president of a non-profit soccer club, an owner of a python breeding business, owns a recording studio, and works for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and the Whiting School of Engineering.
